Singsational
Singsational was founded nearly 30 years ago and was originally known as the Somerset Hills Chorus. It was founded by Cynthia Tucker and has a wonderful history, full of friendships, success & a great deal of fun! Many of the chorus members who formed the original chorus are still with the chorus & as fully engaged as ever.
Five years ago we were lucky enough to recruit the talented Kirstie Spencer as our new Director. After a couple of years of getting to know the chorus by competing nationally & performing locally, Kirstie really got a strong understanding of what our strengths & opportunities are. Kirstie & the chorus have now really embarked on a new phase of the chorus’s life.
With growing numbers (our chorus has almost doubled in size over the last 3 years) and the prospect of a very exciting future built on our wonderful legacy, the members decided to relaunch our chorus. To do this we decided that creating a new name, a new look, a new repertoire & really focusing on what we want to be known for was critical.
The result of that decision was our new name SINGSATIONAL, which we launched in January 2019, and a full commitment to be known as a fun loving, progressive chorus welcoming women of all ages with the same passion & commitment to perform at the highest level.
